OTA's organic show is among the Top 50 fastest growing North American shows
Greenfield, Massachusetts (Nov. 17, 2006)-For the second year in a row, the All Things Organic(TM) Conference and Trade Show was named one of Trade Show Week's Top 50 fastest growing trade shows in North America in 2006.
Produced by the Organic Trade Association (OTA) in partnership with Diversified Business Communications, All Things Organic(TM) in 2006 drew over 10,500 attendees to its show floor in May at McCormick Place in Chicago. The all-organic show first launched in 2001 in Austin, Texas, and was an annual event there for three years. Since 2004, it has been held annually in Chicago, and has seen impressive growth figures in comparison to industry standards.
"The growing success of All Things Organic(TM) reflects the undisputable excitement consumers have about organic products, which is prompting more and more manufacturers and retailers to see organic as a 'must have' in their offerings," according to Dave Gagnon, OTA's Chief Operating Officer. "The growth can also be attributed to the 'community' atmosphere of the event. Offering an OTA Member Day, welcome party, and an awards dinner, All Things Organic(TM) distinguishes itself as the premier organic event of the year."
"The partnership between the Organic Trade Association and Diversified Business Communications is another contributing factor to the event's success," says Liz Plizga, Show Director for All Things Organic(TM). "Aligning OTA, with its credibility in the organic industry, with a strong event producer has allowed the event to flourish into a forum that remains unparalleled by any other event in the industry."
Representatives from OTA and Diversified Business Communications were on hand at the 4th Annual Trade Show Week Fastest 50 event to receive official recognition for the show's impressive growth.
